Are you passionate about Forestry and Biodiversity and want to explore a hands-on fieldwork opportunity to work in one of India's most ecologically rich landscapes?
We are seeking dynamic, full-time interns to join our team in the Dudhwa-Kateriniaghat-Kishanpur Landscape in India. Starting this December, this opportunity involves working closely with our experts on fieldwork, research, data collection, and project implementation. This paid internship offers a stipend of ₹15,000 per month, and all field positions come with additional allowances, including food, accommodation, and travel expenses covered by the project.

Position: Intern - Forestry and Biodiversity
Job Description:
🌍 Conduct data collection on carbon, water, ecosystem services, and remote sensing.
🌳 Assess forest biomass, biodiversity, and conduct ecological assessments.
📊 Engage in data analysis, report writing, and review literature on related topics.
📝 Collate and analyze data as required.
🔍 Carry out other research tasks assigned by IORA.
Qualifications:
🎓 Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s in Forestry, Botany, Ecology, Biodiversity, Natural Resource Management, or Environmental Management from a reputable university/institute.
🤝 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to coordinate with team members and local communities.
Location: Dudhwa-Katerniaghat-Kishanpur Landscape, India
Duration: 2-6 Months
