Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Jaipur, is inviting applications for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under a project funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi. The project, titled “Transforming Aandhi Village in Rajasthan towards a Zero Waste Model through Green Technology Interventions,” aims to develop sustainable waste management solutions through innovative green technologies.

Designation: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

Location: Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology, Jaipur

Job Timings: Monday-Saturday

Eligibility Criteria

🎓Educational Qualification:

  • M.Sc. or M. Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Environmental Science, or an equivalent field with a minimum CGPA of 6.75 (on a 10-point scale) or 60% marks.
  • Must have qualified NET/GATE or cleared other national-level examinations such as those conducted by DRDO, IIT, IISc, DST, DBT, ICAR, ICMR, IISER, etc.
  • Research Experience: A minimum of 2 years of research experience or a PhD in Life Science.

Essential Skills and Desirable Experience:

  • Strong understanding of environmental issues, wastewater treatment, sustainability, and green technology solutions.
  • Willingness to conduct field visits to Aandhi Village.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining project-related documentation and reports is desirable.

Job Responsibilities🎯

  • Conduct various research-related tasks, including field visits and project activities in Aandhi Village, Rajasthan.
  • Assist in the project’s overall implementation by providing expertise in green technologies and sustainability efforts.

Remuneration💰

  • Salary: Rs. 35,000/- per month + 16% HRA, subject to DST guidelines.

Tenure⏰

  • Project Duration: 1st October 2024 to 20th March 2025. The position is temporary but extendable based on project needs and DST norms.
