ICGEB is inviting applications for above project positions from candidates with experience of working in Bioinformatics Research Projects under the Translational Bioinformatics Group , ICGEB , New Delhi.
Mode of Application- Online application by using provided URL.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in person interview at ICGEB, New Delhi.
Only the selected candidates will be informed individually.
No TA/DA or accommodation will be offered to the candidates attending interview.
The selected candidates will not be offered any hostel accommodation at ICGEB and will have to arrange accommodation on their own.

A ) Vacancy Position- Senior Research Fellow ( SRF)
1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience- Post Graduate in Basic Science OR
Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses Selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR UGC NET including lectureship ( Assistant Professorship) and GATE with 2 years Research experience.
2. Consolidated Salary- Rs 52080/- PM (Inclusive of HRA)
B ) Vacancy Position- Junior Research Fellow. (JRF)
1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience-
Post Graduate in Basic Science OR
Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Courses Selected through a process described through any one of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR UGC NET including lectureship ( Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
1. Consolidated Salary- Rs 45880/- PM
( Inclusive of HRA )
C ) Vacancy Position- Project Associate
1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience- Candidates should have Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/M. Sc. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Technology OR Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Consolidated Salary-
a. Rs 31000 /- + HRA to scholars who are selected through
i) National Eligibility Tests - CSIR UGC NET including lectureship ( Assistant Professorship) and GATE. OR
ii ) A selection process through National Level Examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions.
b. Rs 25000 /- PM + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above.
D. Vacancy Position- Project Assistant
1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience- Candidates should have Master's Degree in any science/ M. Sc. Or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering OR Technology OR Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
2. Consolidated Salary- Rs 36208/- PM ( Inclusive of HRA)
